i have, hey wanna try something cool? go ahead rules in industrial settings are there for a reason most of them because of fatal deaths, did you know in a press machine designed for large trucks the human body becomes like bread crumbs? funny how fat, meat and bones does this.

Fairly dangerous and not very smart. To do a speed test on a piece of moving equipment without it being properly bolted, anchored or secured to the floor, is just asking for trouble. Swing that arm too fast can cause perpetual motion to take over and send that thing to the floor, or worse slam it into yourself. That particular robot weighs in excess of 1,500 pounds, with no caging, no safety distance, exposed control and power cabling, just not a very smart thing to do.
The fact that it didn't budge at this rapid speed make it hard to believe that it's not bolted down even though it looks like there are ne bolts.

Definitely TOO close: he was within the range.
The machine has fields defined for safety. If it reaches that field, it stops. Doesn't matter how fast it's moving. It's an emergency stop. Another thing, which I consider it as a golden rule when I'm working with these robots, is that you NEVER EVER test your program outside of T1 mode.

There was motor DC from SEW. We have changed to SEW AC motor. Fits perfect. No mechanical adjustments. Changed DC power units to frequency inverters SEW.

Actually it was not me who made that. Gediminas, chief of production in Lietwood made that. Works fantastic. The small elastic piece of rubber made process of collecting lamellas more stable. Especially for longer or bended wood pieces.
This week some changes made according client needs. Production is changing very often, added some buttons like pause. Anyway 2 buttons principal operation simplify users operation.
